A brand-new centre to transform local dementia care in West Berkshire
West Berkshire Dementia Hub are working in conjunction with Greenham Trust to build a brand-new purpose built centre for dementia care.
By 2030, the number of people in West Berkshire, living with dementia is projected to increase by 50%. There is an urgent need for an innovative approach to meet this challenge. To provide an enhanced level of support for individuals living with dementia and their family carers.
Our mission is to deliver a welcoming hub, which offers a full range of dementia services, integrating health and social care, bringing the community together.
Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (community and mental health services provider) is delighted to support the development of the West Berkshire Dementia Hub. This is a journey of real partnership with a visionary and ambitious charity and funders. I am excited to see the fruition of this beautifully designed building in service of people who will benefit from the life-affirming support and sense of community from this innovative new service.
