Donate today

It will cost a total of £4.75 million to build, fit out and resource this project.
Please consider making a donation in one of the ways listed here

Greenham Trust

For donations to the campaign to build the Hub clicking here will take you to Greenham Trust’s application on The Good Exchange. Donating this way is simple to do and at the moment there is over £1 million of matched funding so your donation will automatically be doubled. The platform will also add Gift Aid on your donation if you are eligible.

West Berkshire Dementia Hub

While our priority is to fully fund the construction campaign as above, donations direct to West Berkshire Dementia Hub are also welcome and will go towards fitting out and resourcing the Hub so that it can open its doors as planned in 2028.

Please contact James Wilcox on james@westberksdementiahub.org | 07972 058378 for more information.

Share gifting

Donating shares to charity is a tax efficient way to give, especially if you have held the shares for many years and selling them would incur a large capital gains liability. Donating shares to charity means that there is no capital gains tax payable and, depending on your circumstances, you may also be able to claim income tax relief on the value of your gift.

If you would like to donate shares to this project, please contact Julian May on

It is strongly recommended that you seek professional tax advice before proceeding.

Leave a legacy

Please consider leaving a gift to West Berkshire Dementia Hub in your Will.

It can be difficult to think about what will happen after we’re gone, but having a valid Will can give you peace of mind that your wishes will be carried out. Leaving a legacy is a valuable way to support the work of a charity and is also a tax efficient way of giving.

Inheritance Tax is usually charged at 40% on your estate above a certain threshold. However, gifts to charities are exempt from Inheritance Tax. They can even reduce the amount of tax your estate has to pay. This means that if you include a gift to a charity in your Will, more of your assets could be available for your beneficiaries.
